Mobile Home Installation Louisville Ky
Our mobile home moving service is ready to help you with mobile home setup solutions to ensure your home can be installed and setup quickly get you moved in as fast as possible.
Even though each installation is unique, generally, there is a sequence of events that must occur during the installation phase. Our setup services begin once the foundation for your home is in place. While double-wide and single-wide installation processes are similar, the single-wide process is usually easier, since there is only one section. Some of the steps in the installation process that are followed by virtually all mobile home setup companies (including us) are found here. Packing Material RemovalDuring shipping, there’s all types of packing material used to protect the different components. During this phase, our team will remove all the packing protection and inspect the home, appliances, materials, and equipment. If there is damage, it needs to be reported because it is the transporter that is responsible for handling this.
Installation of Moisture ProtectionOnce the packing materials are removed, the polyethylene sheeting or another type of moisture retarder will be installed over the ground. Our team will follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer or based on the local building codes.

Positioning of the Sections of the HomeThe first section installed will be the heaviest. The process is done using hydraulic jacks, winches, rollers, and other tools to move the section into the final position. Once in place, the running gear is removed. A crane is necessary if you are using basement foundations.
After the initial section is in place, the process will be completed with the second and it will be squared with the first section. Level and Block the HomeOur team will make the necessary height adjustments to align the floors, roof, and intersecting walls precisely. We then fasten each of the sections together.
Once level and blocked, we will anchor the home to the foundation. |
Final Steps
Once everything is in place, the downpipes and gutters will be installed. At this point, utilities, septic tanks, and water will be hooked up and connected. The heating and ventilation ducting will also be connected. Our team will make the crossover connections between the sections of your home, including plumbing, intercom and phone wires, doorbell, and electrical connections.
If your home has a basement, we will construct the basement stairs to ensure they comply with the local building codes. We will complete the inside drywall, install the matching trim, and test all connections and systems to ensure everything is working properly.
Before our team leaves from the installation process, we will remove all trash, vacuum the flooring and clean all surfaces. This ensures that your home is move-in ready when you arrive.
